G'day Michael,
It's been awhile since we've spoken, and I'm glad to be able to in some small way again support PSC.
You give a lot of yourself in what you have created, and unless there's a logo that can represent that then I don't think any other logos etc. are at all necessary on the site.
You have always done, and continue to do, a great job. I hope you never feel the need to defend yourself to the comp., just keep on being you and let PSC keep on growing based on the love that goes into it... you've touched a lot of people's lives in a most positive manner!
Cheers and keep walking in His light mate,
Kip (Davies)

Thank you so much for selecting our song, ‘A Tree Falls’ (by Halie Loren, Ruth Rosen, & Serena Nelson) as 1st place winner in the Spiritual category as well as making it one of the 6 finalists for songwriter of the year. It’s an honor to be a part of the Pacific Songwriting 2006 Competition. Congratulations to all the other winners! I’m looking forward to hearing all the winning entries!

A Note From Peter Allison
Hello again to all at the Pacific Songwriting Competition.
Thankyou SO MUCH for this huge vote of confidence, it really does mean a lot to me. "Only To Miss You Again" is a very personal song for me, and to know that I have touched someone else with it, is a reward I will most definitely treasure. It was such a surprise when you rang, it didn't really sink in for a while! ... and a delight to immediately share the news with my two kids who "inspired" the song all-be-it at a difficult time in our lives. Songwriting is something I LOVE to do, (although I labour at it at times!) and this result has strengthened my resolve to do much more of it. No more "can't find the time excuses"!!! I really can't thank you enough.
Best Regards,
Peter Allison

A Note From Jackie DiPillo
Dear PSC Team and Deborah,
(Good morning again!) :)
I just told my family the news and truly I am sitting here crying now!! I cannot believe it, and am so thankful for how you all felt my songs! It truly means more than I can say... Songwriting is a joy. It is therapeutic, yet heartwrenching at times. It brings out honesty and guts and teaches me how to set my mind free and let my heart and my senses take over. It\'s unexplainable. You have helped me believe in myself even more and the validation that comes with your kind words, and through this amazing contest, I will continue to try to touch others through my music.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul.
With love, Jackie DiPillo

Hello,
I am not sure if Michael is the one that checks these emails,
but I wanted to write really quick and say that I enjoyed talking with you the other night,
thanks for calling and making sure that I knew I had been confirmed.
I will try to get around to recording that sound clip for your site!
I also want to tell you that, honestly most of the songwriting competitions out there seem kind of seedy and/or greedy - this is one contest that does feel very honest, so thank you to the staff for running it with integrity. (you can quote me on that!)
Thank you,
Celeste Lear - USA

Hello,
My name is Jozsef James and I won 1st place in the inaugural Pacific Songwriting Competition category of Pop/Contemporary.
Firstly I would like to say thankyou for the prize of $1000 - it went straight into adding a few bits and pieces into my bedroom studio....because of this I was able to record my bands demo CD from my home and now we are usinig the demo to book gigs and pitch to record labels.
Your competiton is so important to up and coming songwriters because you give us guidance, confidence, a sense of community and prizes that help nurture our careers in a time when record labels would rather spend money on marketing their next reality star than developing a musicians craft.
Michael and Deborah - you rock....Pacific Songwriting Competition....you rock!!!"

Hi again to all at PSC!
"Hi again to all at PSC!
I returned from a vacation this week to find my winner's packet with the certificate, check, etc., and I just wanted to let you know it made it here safe and sound, and that I swooned a bit when I saw the three zero-ed amount on the check with my own eyes :)
I appreciate everything you've done so very much!
Oh, and the podcast is terrific :)
Thank you for including me in it!"
